Mumbai:Following incessant and heavy downpour in the state, trains services have been severely affected in the state on Wednesday.
The slow trains plying under the Suburban train services of the Western Railway are not running due to waterlogging near Matunga Road station.
Earlier in the day, track failure occurred at Virar station due to which train services were hampered from Virar on the Western railway line.
Official Twitter Account of Central Railway on Wednesday read "Due to continuous and heavy rains train services stopped between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)-Thane on mainline. CSMT-Vadala/Andheri/Goregaon; Vadala-Vashi on harbour line; Belapur-Kharkopar on 4th corridor"
