Mumbai (Maharashtra):On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Mumbai police in collaboration with Moses Chinappa Foundation, held an awareness drive. Police under the Road Safety Campaign made people aware of traffic rules and the importance of helmet while riding a bike.

The traffic police provided helmets to people who were riding the bike without one.

One of the organisers of the safety show said that most of the accidental deaths are caused due to not wearing helmets.

He also said that even though many children are orphaned and many women widowed, still people don't buy a helmet which costs less than 500 rupees.

He added that on Valentine's Day, people gift their loved with chocolates, teddy bears, but never gift helmets to save their lives.

In such a situation, Mosses foundation along with the traffic police have pledged to hand over the gift of their life to their family members by giving free helmets to the boys who are riding without a helmet.
