MSRTC bus conductor commits suicide, blames Thackeray government

A bus conductor working for Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) allegedly committed suicide over erratic pay. The conductor apparently blamed the Uddhav Thackeray led state government for his plight.

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): A Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus conductor allegedly committed suicide over erratic disbursement of salary. The conductor — Manoj Anil Chaudhari wrote a suicide note blaming the Thackeray govt for taking this extreme step.

"For the last 3 months, he didn't get his salary properly. He has named the Thackeray govt as responsible for his death," says Chaudhari's brother.

"My son used to work for the MSRTC & was posted at the Jalgaon depot. He was dealing with loans & used to get erratic and low salary. He committed suicide because of it," says Anil Choudhari, father of the deceased MSRTC bus conductor.
