Jalgaon:As the COVID cases are surging, the demand for medical oxygen is also on the rise. Taking advantage of this, some are also trying to make quick money by cheating people.
A case of cheating was registered against a man for allegedly selling empty carbon dioxide cylinders in the pretext of medical oxygen.
As per reports, a social worker filed a complaint against a person who sold him empty carbon dioxide cylinders. He stated in the complaint that those cylinders might explode after coming in contact with the oxygen.
"If oxygen is filled in the empty cylinders, which were earlier filled with carbon dioxide, they might explode which can be very dangerous. Such kind of cylinders can also prove to be dangerous for a patient's health," he added.
