Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh's troubles are on the rise. The state government has informed the High Court that legal action has been initiated against Parambir Singh by the state government. The state government also informed the court that it has initiated legal proceedings under the Indian Service Rules and Act. Crimes have been registered against the former Mumbai police commissioner in five places, including the crime of ransom.
The ransom case between the state government and Parambir is being heard in the High Court. The state government started the legal process of investigating Parambir, saying that no one is above the law. The state government has argued in the High Court that Parambir Singh should not consider himself above the law. The case came to light after Parambir wrote to the CM alleging that former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had asked him to recover big sums of money.
Parambir Singh, who was removed from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner, is also under investigation in the Sachin Waze case. Parambir was to be questioned by the Mumbai Police under the leadership of Sanjay Pandey. However, he had refused to question Parambir. After that, a new inquiry has been started against Parambir by appointing new officers.
