Maharashtra: Crocodile dies in railway accident

A crocodile has died in a railway accident in Maharashtra's Sangli district. Officials believe that the accident might have happened two days ago.

Sangli (Maharashtra): A crocodile died in an accident at railway tracks in Amanpur village of Sangli district. The railway tracks are 4 Km away from the river. After the floods of 2005, the number of crocodiles in the area increased.

The crocodile is supposed to be around 10-10.5 feet long. Forest department has collected the dead body of the crocodile. The officers think that the incident might have happened two days ago.
