Mumbai (Maharashtra): A woman Renu Sharma had charged NCP minister of rape and later, withdrew the complaint. This episode had created huge political stir in Maharashtra. Now, another woman Karuna Sharma has filed a complaint with Mumbai police against Dhananjay Munde. Karuna alleges Munde not allowing to meet children Karuna Sharma has said in her complaint that, Dhananjay Munde is my husband and he has detained my both children for three months. She has further alleged that, Munde was not allowing her to meet them.
She said that, when I went to meet my children on his bunglow Chirtakut on 24th January, Munde called 30 to 40 police and prevented me to enter. Karuna Sharma in her complaint also said that, my daughter is 14 years old and no woman caretaker is there. If anything goes wrong to my children, Munde should be held accountable. She has also threatened to sit on a hunger strike on 20th February at Azad Maidan or Chitrakut Bungalow and sought police permission. Meanwhile, when this dispute reached high court, lawyers of Karuna Sharma and Dhananjay Munde had told the court that, the matter will be settled in an amicable way. A written guarantee about the same was handed over to the court. Within some days of this, Karuna Sharma has once again demanded action against Munde.
Who is Karuna Sharma
Karuna Sharma came to limelight after rape charges were made against Munde. Karuna Sharma was a model and she had relations with Dhananjay Munde since 2003. After the alleged rape charges, Munde explained his stand and his relations with Karuna Sharma in a post on social media. Munde had said that he had been in relation with Karuna Sharma since 2003. His family, wife and friends knew this. The couple had a son and daughter and he had given his name to them. All documents from school leaving certificate carry his name as father and they live with him. Munde had informed that his family, wife and his children also have accepted them as family and given consent.
