Pictures emerge of jeep crash in Maharashtra

A Maruti Gypsy jeep was seen poised dangerously on the edge of a mountain road with a deep ravine below it on Matheran Ghat in Maharashtra.

Raigad (Maharashtra):Two pictures have been circulated of a Maruti Gypsy car hanging in the air on a two-foot security fence in Matheran Ghat after it ran out of control.

Horrible accident picture surfaces in Maharashtra

The accident took place on a difficult climb to the top of the waterpipe station in Matheran Ghat. It is learned that nine passengers were travelling in the Gypsy car. According to sources, they came to Neral from Mumbai to travel to Matheran.

It is understood the Gypsy was accompanied by another vehicle carrying members from the same group of travellers.

It has come to light that the driver lost control of the vehicle during a steep climb hitting the crash barrier on the side of the road.
