For a cause: Maha man rides bike to promote organ donation

An organ donor himself, Pramod Mahajan is from Sangli and has decided to dedicate his life for a noble cause and to educate people about the necessity of donating organs which makes saving lives easy.

Sangli (Maharashtra):Pramod Lakshman Mahajan, a 68-year-old man from Maharashtra has decided to dedicate his life towards the cause of organ donation.

Mahajan, who hails from Sangli in Maharashtra is on a mission on his bike all over the country creating awareness on organ donation. Mahajan is a fountain of enthusiasm and is determined to popularise the significance of organ donation among school, college students and masses.

Mahajan had donated a kidney 18 years ago and is passionate about educating people about the importance of donating an organ and how easy it is to save a life.

He says his health is fine since then and organ donation is indeed noble as it saves a life. So far, he has travelled in 23 states for over 132 days creating awareness in this regard.
