Nagpur (Maharashtra): With a surge in COVID cases in Maharashtra, the state, and especially Nagpur, is likely to find itself in a spot as it is running out of space to cremate the deceased.
As many as 760 people died due to coronavirus in March. Already, 802 patients have died due to COVID-19 in the first two weeks of April. According to the health bulletin, the deadly virus is claiming at least 35 lives every day.
At this rate, the state is staring at a situation where it may not be able to afford some space to cremate the deceased.
