Boy loses all his limbs after electrocution in Maharashtra

Adi Gaikwad, a resident of Aundh lost all his limbs after he got electrocuted while playing on the terrace of his relative's house. The doctors have amputated all his limbs as it was the only way to save the life of the child.

Pune: In a tragic incident, a three-and-a-half-year-old boy lost all his limbs after he got electrocuted while playing on the terrace of his grandmother's house in Ambegaon.

Adi Gaikwad, a resident of Aundh has sustained grievous burn injuries and is undergoing treatment at Sassoon General hospital.

The doctors have amputated all his limbs as it was the only way to save the life of the child.

On April 18, when Adi went to his grandmother's house at around 6:30 pm he came in contact with the live wires of the transformer while he was playing on the terrace.

Aditya's father, Ganesh Gaikwad has lodged a police complaint in this regard. He has also filed a complaint to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL).
