Solapur (Pandharpur): In a setback to the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra, BJP candidate Samadhan Autade on Sunday won the by-election to Pandharpur-Mangalvedha Assembly seat in Solapur district by defeating his nearest NCP rival by a margin of over 3,700 votes.
Samadhan Autade, was leading from Pandharpur and trailing from Mangalvedha
BJP candidate Samadhan Autade from lead in Pandharpur city and taluka got a lead of one thousand votes while from Mangalvedha city he was trailing by four and a half thousand votes.
Samadhan Autade has won the Pandharpur-Mangalvedha by-election. However, in the last election in Pandharpur city and taluka, the late MLA Bharat Bhalke had a lead of about six and a half thousand votes.
Therefore, Bhagirath Bhalke was expected to get the lead from Pandharpur but Samadhan Autade got a lead of one thousand votes from Pandharpur city. It can be said that Samadhan Autade benefited from the help of MLA Prashant Paricharak.
Priority will be given to development work:
Speaking after the success, Autade said that the BJP will give priority to development works. Newly elected MLA Samadhan Autade assured that he would give priority to development works in Pandharpur-Mangalvedha taluka.
The state will soon be independent
Ranjit Singh Naik Nimbalkar, who will soon be in power in the state, said that BJP has hoisted the flag on the constituency, which is considered the stronghold of NCP. MP Ranjit Singh Nimbalkar has predicted that the state will soon be independent. He will take all the MLAs from the Solapur district to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray regarding the Ujani water issue. The key to Finance Minister Ajit Pawar's funds is opened only for Baramati, said Ranjit Singh Nimbalkar.
Victory because of Sudhakarpant Paricharak
MLA Prashant Paricharak gave a remark that with the blessings of Sudhakarpant Paricharak, the prediction statement made by MLA Sanjay Shinde became true. Today's victory has been achieved with the blessings of former MLA Sudhakar Paricharak. Paricharak said that this is a victory for the voters and activists of the Pandharpur-Mangalvedha assembly.
