Mumbai: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a fourth accused, Kishor Thakkar, from Gujarat in connection with the detection of Scorpio explosives outside the house of businessman Mukesh Ambani.
Following the arrest, the ATS handed over his custody to the NIA. Meanwhile, this is the fourth arrest in the case after Naresh Gore, Vinayak Shinde and Sachin Waze.
The SIM card was obtained through Kishore Thakkar
Sachin Waze had ordered some fake SIM cards from Gujarat to keep a Scorpio outside Mukesh Ambani's house through cricket bookie Naresh Gore. The NIA has claimed that Vinayak Shinde took the SIM card from Naresh Gore and gave it to Sachin Waze. The investigation has revealed that the fake SIM card was obtained from Gujarat through Kishore Thakkar. A relative of Kishor Thakkar has also been arrested for questioning.
Gaur and Shinde prisoned in NIA custody till April 7
Naresh Gaur and Vinayak Shinde were taken to the court in this case and their NIA custody has been extended till April 7. The two were already being interrogated in the NIA custody.

Another vehicle of Waze was seized by NIA
Another vehicle bearing the name of Sachin Waze has been seized by the National Investigation Agency from the Kamothe area in Navi Mumbai. The vehicle was found unattended on the road in front of society. However, the locals did not lodge any complaint with the police.
According to the information received so far, the number of this car is MH01 AX 2627 and the chassis number of this car is a model of Hindustan Motor Finance Corporation Limited is MA701CW5WBD001995. This car was registered on June 23, 2011, in the name of Sachin Waze. Meanwhile, the NIA has also seized a Volvo car belonging to the ATS in this case.

Waze suffered from chest pain
Sachin Waze, a suspended police officer in NIA custody, was admitted to JJ Hospital for treatment due to ill health. At 10:30 on Sunday night, Waze suffered from chest pain. He was later taken to JJ Hospital for treatment. After treatment, he was brought back to the NIA office. Sachin Waze was diagnosed with diabetes and was then clarified.
Waze has created a messaging app
Sachin Waze is well-versed in the new technology and is techno-savvy, according to National Investigation Agency officials. Sachin Waze had created his own messaging app before returning to the police force. It has come to light that he has also created a search engine of his own name. Sachin Waze had created a messaging app called Direct Baat and he was using this app. The NIA is now trying to find out who Waze was in contact with through this messaging app. Sachin Waze's messaging app has been removed from the Google Play Store.
Waze had kept his mobile phone in his office on the day of Hirens murder
According to the National Investigation Agency, on the day Hiren Mansukh was killed, Sachin Waze had kept his mobile phone in his office at the Mumbai Police Commissioners Office. He had also appointed a police officer to take incoming phone calls. After placing the mobile in his own office at the Commissionerate of Police, Waze had taken Mansukh Hiren to the Gaimukh area of Thane.
