New Delhi: In a rare weather event, Cyclone Gulab will remerge in another form in the Arabian Sea in the next two to three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). It further added that it is likely that the remnant of Cyclone Gulab could emerge in the northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat coast around September 30.
The IMD had also informed that the deep depression over north Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha (remnant of cyclonic storm Gulab) moved westwards and weakened into a depression and will turn into a well-marked low-pressure area in the next 24 hours. "Scattered low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection layover southeast Arabian sea and Comorin region," the weather department said.
