Mumbai (Maharashtra): Aaditya Thackeray, Shiv Sena youth wing leader and son of party president Uddhav Thackeray, has filed his nomination papers from Worli constituency in Maharashtra.
Aaditya Thackeray files nomination from Maharashtra's Worli Thackeray Jr. will be the first member from the family to enter the electoral fray after Shalini Thackeray, the wife of Jeetendra Thackeray, a cousin of MNS founder Raj Thackeray, who had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Aditya Thackeray, a BA and LLB, is the son of Uddhav and Rashmi Thackeray and has a younger brother, Tejas Thackeray.
As the BJP-Sena alliance hangs on a fine balance ever since the BJP's dominating win in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Sena seeks for a change in its leadership to dominate the domestic scene once again.
