Mumbai: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) arrested seven people from Mulund on Sunday for black marketing of Remdesivir, the injection used for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Acting on a tip-off, the FDA official laid a trap and pretended as a customer to catch them red-handed.
The officials seized the injections while during interrogation it was revealed that the gang includes a pharmacist.
Reportedly, the Rs 5,400 injection was being sold for Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000.
