Ward boy attempts to rape Covid patient under treatment in Madhya Pradesh

A ward boy allegedly attempt to rape a 50-year-old covid positive woman in a private covid care centre in Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh in the wee hours of the Sunday. The staffer has been arrested by police.

Gwalior:A hospital staff has been arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a 50-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 infection in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place in the ICU of a Covid centre.

Earlier, the woman was brought to the hospital after having symptoms of Covid-19. After the checkup, she was tested positive and due to the difficulty in breathing she was admitted to the ICU.

Later, at the midnight the ward boy tried to rape her, after which the woman informed her family members about the incident.

The family members rushed to the spot and created a ruckus over there.

Meanwhile, the accused was arrested by the police, while the family members of the victim are alleging that the manager of the hospital tried fracas with them.
