Bhopal: In a tragic accident, four people including three of the same family died while two others were injured after a dumper rammed an load carrier on the Indore-Bhopal bypass road in Madhya Pradesh, officials said on Wednesday. An official said that the accident took place during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday along the Indore-Bhopal bypass road.
As per the official, a speeding dumper truck hit the road divider and rammed a load carrier. After ramming the load carrier, the speeding dumper truck overturned on the road. In the accident, the dumper truck driver and three others traveling in the load carrier died on the spot. The deceased include a woman, hailing from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh and her two minor children.

Two husband of the woman and the driver of the load carrier have been injured in the accident and they have been sent to the hospital for treatment, an official said. A police official said that preliminary probe has revealed that the dumper truck driver was overspeeding due to which the truck went out of control and collided the road divider before ramming into the load carrier.
As per the police official, the load carrier laden with household goods was on way from Bhopal to Indore. As soon as the information about the tragic accident was received, the local police reached the spot and started the rescue operation. The police team shifted the bodies to the district hospital for postmortem while the injured were also brought to the district hospital for treatment.
Police have registered a case into the accident while further investigation into the case is going on.
