People risk lives to cross a dilapidated bridge in Rajgarh

Commuters from Ramgarh to Araniya village are finding it difficult to cross a bridge that was broken after floods. People are helpless and have to risk their lives to cross it.

Rajgarh: People in Rajgarh district are risking their lives to cross a bridge that was dilapidated after the flood in the state. Due to the overflowing water from the dam and continuous rain, the only bridge connecting Ramgarh to Araniya village in Jeerapur town was damaged.

People in the district are forced to cross the dilapidated bridge which has become an issue of safety.

All government and private schools in Bhopal, Raisen, Vidisha, Dewas, Jabalpur, Sehore and Balaghat districts remained closed on Monday due to the heavy rains.

Several low-lying areas are facing a flood-like situation as rainwater has gushed into households and commercial establishments in the localities.
