Her husband says that he can’t keep her any longer with him. Later, her father-in-law and husband’s brother came and asked her to go home but the woman refused. After which she was beaten while crossing the limits of cruelty. A teenager from the village was made to sit on the woman’s shoulder and was forced to walk barefoot on a bumpy road for three kilometres. On the way, the woman was beaten with sticks and was hit with stones as well.
Kept beating for three kilometres
The name of the village where the woman was staying is Sangai. Imagine a woman who was made to walk barefoot for about three kilometres from her in-laws’ place to Banskhedi, despite the fact that she was carrying a five months old baby in her stomach. All limits of humanity were crossed. No one came forward to her rescue.
The woman was living with another boy
The woman belongs to Dagdafla village of Gram Panchayat Rai under Bamori assembly constituency. She comes from the Bhil community. The woman was first married to a young man, a resident of Banskhedi village. Later, she moved to Sangai with another young man. The woman was abandoned by her husband, after which she was living with another man. It angered her in-laws and they committed the act of barbarity to the woman.

The woman said that at first in-laws beat her up. Her husband had gone out of the house to work in the field at the time of the incident. She was alone at home. After the assault, the in-laws made her husband’s brother sit on her shoulder. After this, she was asked to visit Banskhedi village, that is, the place of her former in-laws. This route is three kilometres long. At the same time, when the woman opposed it, she was forced to comply with it. The woman said that she has a pregnancy of five months in her stomach. Still the father-in-law and the elder brother of her husband kept dragging her, beating her on the feet with stones, and bats.
