Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh):In a case of bewildering negligence by the staff of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, a patient who was declared dead twice by the hospital authorities earlier had finally died on Saturday.
Gorelal Kauri, a resident of Sultania who had tested positive for the Coronavirus, was declared dead twice. He was admitted to the hospital on April 11. On April 13, the hospital declared him dead. After preparing for the funeral, when the family arrived at the hospital to pick up the body, they found Gorelal alive.

Again, the next day on April 14, the relatives received a call from the doctor saying that Gorelal had died. However, when the deceased's son insisted to see the body of the father, it was found that it was someone else's body that was being handed over to them. Following an investigation by the hospital authorities, it was found out that Gorelal was alive, but as his condition was critical, he was shifted to the isolation ward.
