Bhopal:A sex racket, being operated under the guise of a clinic/hospital, allegedly for the past 20 years, was busted by the police in Barkhedi area of Bhopal on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the clinic, which had been in the area for the past two decades, and nabbed 10 persons, including three high-profile people.
"The state's Director General of Police (DGP) had received a complaint that a sex racket was being operated in Barkhedi area, following which a raid was conducted," said Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Nischal Jhariya.
He further said that among the accused, three (kingpins) have been identified as: State President of Trinamool Congress Sachin Chauhan, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) Doctor Gayatri Veer Singh and a Former Sarpanch.
