Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Stating that the state government is doing its every bit to contain the virus, Madhya Pradesh health minister, Prabhuram Chaudhary, remained evasive about the shortage of vaccines and medicines in the state. He was interacting with the reporters after completing his election tour of Damoh where by-elections are being held.
When the ETV Bharat reporter asked the health minister about the demand and supply of oxygen in the state, he did not give any information about the figures. The Health Minister's only reply was that there is no shortage of injections. All hospitals have adequate injections, while many district hospitals have not yet received injections. There are complaints of lack of oxygen in most hospitals of Madhya Pradesh. There is also a shortage of Remdesivir injections.

Videos to support such claims are in the public domain as well. Videos involving doctors, patients and their families are becoming viral on social media, but the Health Minister is not aware of all this.
At the same time, when asked the Health Minister about the number of beds in hospitals, he again gave the same reply that there is no shortage of beds. An adequate number of beds are available in all hospitals. Regarding patients suffering from corona infection, he said that the government has the correct figures. Many deaths are caused by corona infections, who are also being considered as Covid patients.
