MP farmer ends life

A 40-year-old farmer committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at his village. The reason behind such an extreme step is still not known.

Indore: A 40-year-old farmer allegedly committed suicide on Thursday by hanging himself from a tree at his farm at Jalalpura village, around 60 kms from the district headquarters police said.

The farmer was identified as Mohan Rajput, Deepalpur police station inspector Gopal Parmar said.

Police are trying to know what prompted Rajput, who has two children, to take the extreme step, he added.

Rajput's body has been handed over to his family, Parmar said.
