Betul (Madhya Pradesh):A 13-year-old boy was thrashed and electrocuted on suspicion of a mobile theft in a remote village of Madhya Pradesh's Betul district on Tuesday .
According to reports, the events started when a group of people were seen gambling on Sunday in Chindi Maithani area of Betul district , following which locals informed the police.
When the cops reached there, the gamblers reportedly fled from the spot in order to escape the arrest.
As their mobile phones were left behind, alleged gamblers- Roop Singh Raghuvanshi and Kailash Singh Raghuvanshi came back to search for their phone in the field , where they left it.
As the duo was unable to find the phone, they started interrogating Shyam, who was playing in the field, after they raised suspicion of theft on him.
