MP-based man is walking to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister

Sanjay Sharma of Madhya Pradesh is walking to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He says it was dream to see Ram Mandir built in Ayodhya and "Modi has made it possible". He, however, has no idea how he would meet Modi after reaching the capital city.

Gwalior: With all hurdles gone for construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a Madhya Pradesh-based man, who had decided long ago that once construction of the temple starts, he would walk to the national capital to meet and greet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"I had decided that once everything gets settled and construction work starts, I would go and meet the Prime Minister in New Delhi," Sanjay Sharma told ETV Bharat here.

Clad in a 'kurta-pajama' and wearing ordinary sandals, Sanjay Sharma, has reached Gwalior and plans to stay here for a night to take some rest.

"I have already covered a distance of around 350 kilometres and it may take ten more days to reach there," he said, while showing wounds of his feet.

On if he had spoken to someone in Delhi to arrange a meeting with the Prime Minister, he said: "No, it's you (media) who would have to do it for me".

Sharma praised Modi for all that he has done and is doing for the country.
