Man dies due to hospital's negligence in Madhya Pradesh

A 25-year-old patient died at the Guna district hospital in Madhya Pradesh due to the hospital's negligence and irresponsible attitude of doctors. The deceased's wife alleged that as she could not buy the receipt, doctors did not start the treatment of her husband which led to his death.

Guna (Madhya Pradesh): A 25-year-old man died in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district hospital allegedly due to hospital's negligence as her wife could not buy patient's receipt due to lack of money.

The deceased's wife said that as she could not buy the receipt, doctors did not start the treatment of her husband which led to his death.

Aarati Rajak, a resident Ashok Nagar in Guna district, said that her husband was ill for some days for which he was getting the treatment from the Guna district hospital.

"On Tuesday evening, I brought my husband to the Guna hospital as his condition deteriorated. I was first asked to buy receipt for the patient but I couldn't buy as I had no money left with me. As I could not buy the receipt, Doctors did not attend my husband for the whole night which led to his death," Rajak said her ordeal.

She further said that if her husband would have got the treatment on time, he would not have died.

It is to be noted that doctors at the hospital refused to comment on the matter.
