Hyderabad: After the demise of the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor, there is a pervading sorrow across the political arena. Besides his upright tweets, he is being remembered for once asking Madhya Pradesh govt to focus on overall development of roads, on his visit to the state in February 2017.
Sources say, Rishi Kapoor quite often visited Madhya Pradesh for many of his private events. On a visit to Hoshangabad on 4th February 2017, he had fallen in love with the transcendental beauty of the river Narmada.

Reportedly, the people of Hoshangabad too are dejected over his death and are reminiscing the days he had spent in the state. The actor's statement in Hoshangabad two years back had made headlines as he had accused the state government of not working enough to develop roads.
According to the local sources, Rishi Kapoor had to travel from Bhopal to Hoshangabad by road which took him two hours because of the miserable condition of the roadways. He then instantly advised CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan to improve the condition of the roads which made headlines for the day.
