Bhopal:In an alleged love jihad case from Madhya Pradesh, a man from Bhopal has been booked for kidnapping and allegedly converting a minor girl from Jhansi.
The man and the minor got married a year-and-half ago and settled in Bhopal. Reportedly, the man also got the minor's name changed from Bharati to Tarannum.
Two days ago the minor was admitted to a hospital with the converted name Tarannum in a Chunabhatti hospital where she died under suspicious circumstances.
Police have conducted post mortem of the body and the Uttar Pradesh police have also arrested two people in the case.
Hindu organizations agitated
With the matter coming into the light, various Hindu organizations started coming forward criticising the situation, condemning the case in different ways and were also demanding laws against love jihad.
