Satna (MP):While the whole country continues to be under lockdown and people are devising different ways to keep themselves busy. But there are some people who made good of the lockdown to set a new precedent of hard work and determination.
A tribal couple from Madhya Pradesh's Satna district has decided to utilise their time by digging a well during the lockdown period to beat the water crisis.
Chhotu Mawasi and his wife Rajlali Mawasi, the residents of Barha Mwan of Madhya Pradesh's Satna district, started digging up a well outside their house after the 21-day long nationwide lockdown was announced.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chhotu Mawasi said, "Due to Coronavirus Lockdown we couldn't go outside. So my wife and I decided to do something. Therefore, I and my wife decided to deal with the severe problem of water scarcity during these days of lockdown and we started digging a well in the backyard of our own house. It took more than 20 days to dig the well. It was not easy to dig and break the huge rocks inside the ground with our hands, but we did it."
