Satna:As many as seven people were killed while four were critically injured due to lightning strikes at different locations in the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. The injured are currently under treatment.
The first incident was reported from Dharmapura Purani Basti village under Badera police station limits where few fishermen were hiding behind the Hanuman temple.

Amid strong winds, the lightning struck the temple and three of them died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries at a hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Avinash Kol, Surendra Sahu, Jitendra Kol, and Bharat Kol.
The injured are being treated at Maihar Civil Hospital.
According to doctors, Raju Kol, Sipahi Kol and Sampat Kol are critical.
All the victims were from Kakra village.
