Gwalior:As the ensuing by-elections in Madhya Pradesh have turned into a battle between Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his former counterpart Kamal Nath, BJP leadership has given union minister Narendra Singh Tomar the responsibility to lead the party to victory.
Ahead of by-polls, union minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar has taken the responsibility for 16 constituencies in Gwalior-Chambal region.
While campaigning in Gwalior, the Union minister on Tuesday said that his prestige is at stake in these 16 constituencies.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Tomar said," Congressmen were not paying heed to the issues raised by their own MLA’s and left no option for MLAs to leave Congress and join BJP for sake of people of their constituencies. Formed Deputy CM of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot is also visiting the Gwalior-Chambal region today, but he has become a victim of his own party."
