Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A samaritan in Jabalpur has come to the rescue of critical Covid patients with respiratory issues who cannot afford or procure them.
After the death of his father due to lack of oxygen in the hospital, Farukh Khan realised the need of the hour and started refilling empty cylinders with oxygen, free of cost, to help the poor and needy in the district.
Watching the pandemic ravaging the population in the country, Khan started supplying oxygen for free to people who are experiencing severe symptoms of the mutated coronavirus.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Khan said, "My father died due to coronavirus. This was a very difficult time for me. Due to lack of oxygen, my father was no more and after his death, I had to bother for hours in search of transport the dead body. After which, I decided that now I will help people as much as possible. The troubles that I faced, people should not face the same. With this spirit, I gathered oxygen cylinders to help the people."
