Indore: While Indore police have started interrogating the five accused persons who were arrested for smuggling methylenedioxymethamphetamine drugs, Hyderabad police also locating properties of the main accused, Ved Prakash Vyas.
In the latest development in the case, police on Friday informed that the main accused Vyas revealed some crucial facts regarding the crime and also said that if the police would release him, he will divulge all other information about drugs smuggling cases in the country.
Speaking to reporters here, IG Haricharan Mishra said, "Even during the lockdown, Vyas used to transport drugs easily from one city to another. Vyas has directly supplied drugs to many people including Agarwal."
"All the five accused, arrested by the Indore Crime Branch, are currently being interrogated. The arrested accused gave information about a smuggler named Rais, who used to meet these smugglers and he used to sell drugs in packets of glucose and smuggled drugs to other cities of Indore and MP," he said.
"Meanwhile, the main accused said that if we would release him, he will reveal all information in connection to this case and other cases also. The remand period of the five accused is coming to an end today and the police will present them in the District Court of Indore today," he said.
"All are being questioned about how much drugs they had sold in Indore. We have launched a manhunt to nab Rais, whose detailed report is still awaited. After his arrest, there is the possibility of more arrests in the case," he added.
