Indore GRP arrests man for killing woman in running train

In a case of unrequited love, a man killed a woman on Indore-Bilaspur Narmada Express by slitting her throat. The accused has been arrested by Indore GRP after scanning CCTV footages.

Indore:Government Railway Police in Indore have arrested a man in connection with a murder case of a woman in a running train after scanning CCTV footages on Wednesday.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening after Sagar Soni slit open the throat of Muskan Hada while she was travelling in Indore-Bilaspur Narmada Express.

According to the police, Hada, a resident of the Kalani Nagar area of Indore, was a divorcee and Soni who was a newspaper seller in train fell in love with her.

After she refused his proposal, Soni started threatening her.

On Tuesday, Hada boarded the Indore-Bilaspur Narmada Express train for Bhopal from Indore railway station.

After Soni boarded the train from Dewas, he landed into an argument with Hada for blocking his mobile number.

Hada called her ex-husband Kapil Yadav, who refused to help her following which she called her brother.

Near Sehore railway station, Soni slit her throat and fled the spot.

Sehore SP SS Chauhan informed that Sagar Soni was a good friend of Muskan Hada and the woman died due to excessive bleeding.
