The Congress Rajya Sabha MP said since Shah has already given a chronology of CAA, NPR and NRC, he along with the Prime Minister must initiate talks with the protesters.

"They must speak to the people," he said, alleging that country was being burnt by the BJP-led government.

There have been nationwide protests against the central government's move to implement the CAA and the NRC.
