DSP shot dead, one held in MP

In a shocking incident, DSP posted in the CID wing in Madhya Pradesh police was shot dead at his residence. The police arrested one accused in connection with the murder.

Bhopal:Bhopal Police on Thursday arrested one in connection with the death of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) GL Ahirwar.

According to the police, DSP Ahirwar, posted in the CID wing of Madhya Pradesh police, was allegedly shot dead by Himanshu Pratap Singh at his residence in Awadhpuri area.

He was rushed to a private hospital but was declared dead.

The accused had fled the scene after the incident. He was later arrested by the Bhopal police from Vidisha.
