Driver charred to death as truck catches fire after accident

One person was killed after the truck he was travelling in overturned and caught fire in Madhya Pradesh's Alirajpur. The deceased has been identified as Ahmed.

Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh): A truck driver was killed when the vehicle he was driving caught fire and turned-turtle. The incident took place near Kanwada village in Madhya Pradesh's Alirajpur on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ahmed, resident of Gujarat's Chhota Udepur.

The truck, while taking a turn, hit a building and overturned after losing balance. The driver could not escape as his legs got stuck in the vehicle, the police officer said.

He could not be retrieved and was charred to death, the police officer added.
