Indore: Madhya Pradesh State Women's Commission Chairman Shobha Oza on Monday condemned the Sidhi gang-rape incident, terming it as 'extremely shameful'.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Oza said that 'Jungle-raj' is going on in the state as daughters are not safe in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's regime. The atrocities against women have increased in the state since the Chouhan government took over the charge.
"The Sidhi gang-rape incident shows that culprits have absolutely no fear of law. The crime against women has increased under the regime of Chouhan government," she said adding that the crime rate had decreased when Kamal Nath-led Congress party was heading the state.
