Indore: In a shocking incident, reported from Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday, Dalit workers were beaten brutally by their supervisors.

The incident took place in Betma police station limits where workers refused to work in mines as their salaries were pending for the last few months.

This agitated mines' supervisors beat workers brutally. The incident of the video has gone viral on social media.

Following this, All India Balai Samaj Federation reached the Deputy Inspector General of Police's (DIG) office and staged a protest.

The women of the area also staged a sit-in at the DIG office demanding strict action against accused.

Based on the viral video, the local police have filed a complaint and also arrested three persons.

Speaking on this, Hari Narayan Chari Mishra, DIG of Indore, said that police took immediate action and arrested three persons related to the incident.

"We are further investigating the matter and culprits will be brought to the book soon," he added.
