Bhopal:The Bhopal Crime Branch has arrested four people who were trying to sell Remdesivir injections. Remdesivir injections are effective in tackling Coronavirus and are in high demand due to rising cases in Madhya Pradesh. The state is also facing a shortage of injections due to illegal hoarding and black marketing.

The four accused were nabbed from Shahjahanabad on the basis of specific information. They also recovered four doses of Remdesivir injections from the accused. Surprisingly, a doctor and a medical store worker were among the four accused. According to the police, the four were trying to sell the injections between Rs 12,000 and 15,000 rupees. Police said they purchased the injections for 7,000 rupees each from a worker at a medical supply store.
