Bhopal: Eighteen Tablighi Jamaat members who have completed time in quarantine centers have been arrested and presented in court on Thursday.
According to the police, all the accused have joined Delhi's Markaz before coming to Bhopal. Along with this, they were involved in religious ceremonies in Islampura, Bhopal and Momani mosque in Mangalwara.
The court has sent everyone to judicial custody. There are cases of arrested passports, passport act, foreign act and lockdown break. Talking to the media, ASP Manu Vyas has said that the Talaiya, Mangalwara police station has arrested 18 Jamaaties, 8 of them foreigners. Among those sent to jail are accused from Kazakhstan, South Africa, Tanzania, Maharashtra and Bihar.
All the people are accused that they were living in the city by hiding information, as well as taking part in religious events.
