Indore (Madhya Pradesh):Indore police is police investigating the illegal properties and bank accounts of two accused allegedly with 70 kilograms of MDMA drugs worth Rs 70 crore in the international market.
The police are also investigating the financial trails of the Ved Vedprakash Vyas (50), who runs a drug manufacturing unit in Hyderabad, and his driver Mangi Venkatesh (39) who were arrested along with Indore-based Dinesh Agrawal (55), Akshay Agrawal (30) and Chiman Agrawal (38) in the case.
According to police, the drugs were manufactured in a factory in Telangana and were being shipped to several countries.
The accused had smuggled drugs through private vehicles, public transport and trains, police said.
The accused confessed to their crime and accepted that Dinesh, Akshay and Chiman used to purchase ecstasy pills from Ved Prakash and Mangi and used to supply the same to parties held in the city.
