Adivasi wife made to carry husband on her shoulder in Madhya Pradesh

An Adivasi woman from Jhabua was made to carry her husband on her shoulder following a fight with her husband. Reportedly, she was verbally abused and physically attacked too. A complaint has been file in this regard.

Jhabua:In the Adivasi regions here instances where women are tortured and mistreated, are increasing these days. In a recent incident, a woman was made to carry her husband on her shoulder as a punishment.

Reportedly, the woman and her husband had a fight following with she was punished and treated very badly for the same.

Apart from carrying her husband on her shoulder, the woman was verbally abused and physically attacked too.

A complaint has been registered in connection to the matter

A video of the incident went viral in social media, only after which the incident came to the knowledge of the police here and the woman was called late at night to register a complaint in this regard.
