Indore: Death of two patients in two government hospitals allegedly by the negligence of the doctors and hospital management rocked the Indore city on Sunday. Apart from creating ruckus at the hospitals, family members of the deceased demanded investigation into the matter.
2 die due to negligence of Indore govt hospitals According to reports, an elderly man died in the Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital on Sunday due to unknown complications.
Meanwhile, the deceased relatives have complained that he was a victim of negligence and they alleged that the concerned doctors were busy regarding the patient's medical documents, reports said.
The deceased's son said that while he was requesting hospital staff to provide a bed for his father who was still in the ambulance succumbed.
In another incident, the wife of a COVID-19 positive person who died in the district Super Specialty Hospital has complained stating that “negligence” by doctors and other staff led to the death of the patient.
The woman said that the condition of her husband was critical when he was brought to the hospital.
"The doctors and staff did not an allot bed for my husband and he was not given oxygen. When I was requesting medical staff for my husband's treatment, doctors and staff were busy with other issues. This is fully medical negligence and I am demanding action against the doctors.," she said.
Reportedly, these two incidents rocked the district administration as Indore is considered as the medical hub for the state.
