Indore (Madhya Pradesh):With 127 people testing positive on Wednesday morning, the number of coronavirus cases in Indore climbed to 544, health officials confirmed to ETV Bharat.
Indore, an emerging hotspot for novel coronavirus, has reported 62 cases on Tuesday, making the condition miserable for the government.
According to the reports, the state government has sent a sample of 1,142 people to Central Lab, Noida on Tuesday evening for further testing of COVID-19 patients.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Indore collector Manish Singh said, "We have sent a sample of more than 1,100 people for testing. Among them, 127 people tested corona positive."
The Collector further added that the government has established isolation wards, having more than 800 beds.
