Kerala woman stabbed to death by stalker

Malappuram(Kerala): A woman in Kerala was stabbed to death by a stalker on Thursday and her sister was injured during the attack, reports said. The stalker, identified as Vineet, attacked the 21-year-old woman in Mallapuram district after she rejected his interest in her, according to reports.

The post-mortem report revealed that she was stabbed 22 times and she died of internal bleeding. Sources said the man had set the woman's father's shop on fire before he headed to her house to attack her. Sources also said he was hiding near the house till dawn before the attack. In April, the woman's family had made a complaint to the police against the stalker for harassment.
