Wayanad:CPI (M) acting secretary and Left Democratic Front (LDF) convenor, A. Vijayaraghavan on Thursday said that the appointment of staff from an expired Public Service Commission (PSC) list is illegal and that's why the Chief Minister reiterates that it cannot be discussed.
During a presser here, Vijayaraghavan said, "The BJP ruling at the Centre has not yet filled the vacancies at the Central Government. It was Congress leader Oommen Chandy who cut down the validity of the PSC rank lists to one year."
BJP is trying to unleash violence by staging another protest close to the PSC rank holders’ protest venue, before the elections, he said.
Vijayaraghavan alleged that the United Democratic Front (UDF) is planning to expand the Nemom model during general elections. BJP and the UDF have come to agreements in many constituencies.
