Thiruvananthapuram: A man from Thrissur area of Kerala has lodged a complaint against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for alleged traffic violations during his recent visit to Kochi, officials said. It is learnt that Jayakrishnan, a native of Thrissur, has lodged the complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP) Kerala, Anilkanth and the Motor Vehicle Department on Wednesday, pointing out the traffic violations of the Prime Minister during his roadshow in Kochi on Apr. 24.
In his complaint, Jayakrishnan said that the Prime Minister was hanging from his official vehicle without any regard to safety even as the windshield of the car was covered with the flower petals showered by the locals on the PM thereby affecting the visibility of the driver and putting lives at risk. Jayakrishnan said in the complaint that everyone is bound to follow the law and everyone should follow it.
