Pratheesh Viswanath, the founder of Hindu Seva Kendra, responded by announcing to reward to anyone who proves that no one from Kerala has gone to Syria to join ISIS. PK Firoz, MYL state general secretary, claimed that the makers changed the trailer due to opposition from Kerala against Sangh Parivar’s propaganda.

MV Govindan, the CPM state secretary, had alleged that the film was an attempt by the BJP government and RSS to poison the minds of the people.
